the_follyAbout the order, I'm reading/listening my way along this Chronology...
So, Black Mould
... black mould that mind-reads and induces one to hallucinate ones fears... (WAAAHHH *HIDES*)
I'm with Bev's thrall on this one, flamethrower needed!
(No Peter, Bunsen burners are not as badass as flamethrowers for black mould destruction, sorry.)
Features muslim ninja Guleed in action and ribbing Peter... I like Guleed!
Good use of Peter's backstory re: mixed race and jazz musician father (we get to meet Lord Grant!), Peter and Nightingale phoning and keeping each other up on their 'actions', Molly wearing a hello kitty nightshirt and taking knives to the black mould that's invading the tech cave, Nightingale revealing that it's a swordcane and that he has a vodun go-to lady that nicked his service revolver! Unfortunately for Peter, said vodun lady points the investigaton to... Herefordsire. So Dom gets a chance to clock some more unusual experiences with the uncanny! (and yes, goats are evil, trust me. Curry is exactly the right place for them)
And while Peter is finding the investigation's magic source in the countryside, Nightingale is a gentleman
and even manages to record the black mould's final performance.
Thought that was a good adventure for team!Folly and company! Characters being in character, some really fun bits, interesting turns, everyone doing their job and being great at it!
Was also amusing to actually see the nude scenes I otherwise just read/heard. Reading about people lounging languorously in lingerie or walking nude along country roads is different than actually seeing it in the comic somehow...
